Former FIFA executive committee member Worawi Makudi has been suspended from football activity for 90 days.
The head of the Thai Football Association is accused of an unspecified breach of the organisation's ethics code.
And FIFA's Ethics Committee has handed down the ban pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation, although a lawyer acting for Makudi has said he will appeal.
President Sepp Blatter, general secretary Jerome Valcke and presidential candidate Michel Platini are all currently subject to similar suspensions.
