Premier League referees Mark Clattenburg and Martin Atkinson have been named on the officiating list for Euro 2016.
The English referees are joined on an 18-strong list for the European tournament by leading Scottish official Willie Collum, with UEFA breaking with protocol by naming two referees from the same national association.
All games will feature a total of five officials, with each refereeing team consisting of a referee, two assistants and two additional assistants, with the majority of assistants/additional assistants coming from the same nation as the referee.
Other English top-flight refs Michael Oliver, Craig Pawson, Anthony Taylor and Andre Marriner will also be in France as additional assistant referees to Clattenburg and Atkinson.
All participating officials will go through a number of courses and training activities before the tournament, with assistants having their first meeting in Cyprus in January.
UEFA's annual winter course, involving all UEFA Elite Group referees, takes place from February 1-5, where they will be given physical plans to follow until the summer tournament in France.
UEFA will also host a preparatory Euro 2016 course in France from April 18-22, where the selected refereeing teams will train together and have thorough fitness tests.
David Elleray, chairman of the Football Association's referees' committee, told thefa.com: "That UEFA has made an exception to the convention that no country has more than one referee at a EURO finals is indicative of how highly Martin and Mark are regarded throughout Europe, not just by UEFA but also by clubs, players, coaches and spectators.
"Both regularly take control of major UEFA Champions' league matches and were also involved in critical EURO matches including the play-offs when Mark refereed Norway v Hungary and Martin refereed Denmark v Sweden."
