Ross County manager Jim McIntyre is the sole Premiership nominee for the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year award.

Rangers' Mark Warburton, Falkirk's Peter Houston and Jim McInally of League One Peterhead complete the shortlist, all nominees having been voted for by their peers.

McIntyre got his hands on the League Cup this year and saw his unheralded County side book their place in the top six of the Premiership for the first time.

Warburton is on the verge of a treble having secured promotion to the Premiership, won the Petrofac Cup and beaten Celtic in their Scottish Cup semi-final to book a final date against Hibs on May 21.

Houston has guided Falkirk to the Championship play-offs, as they battle with Raith Rovers and Hibs for the right to join Rangers in the top flight next season.

Peterhead boss McInally led his part-timers to Hampden and a Petrofac Cup final appearance against Rangers as well as securing a place in the play-offs.

Alan Stubbs, who has guided Hibs to two cup finals and kept them in the Championship promotion hunt has been overlooked while Celtic's Ronny Deila - who lost out to Inverness' John Hughes last season - also misses out.

Allan Johnston, whose Dunfermline side have romped to the League One title after he rebuilt the squad at East End Park, is another notable omission.

The overall winner will be announced on Sunday May 1 at PFA Scotland's annual awards dinner at the Hilton hotel in Glasgow.
