Partick skipper Abdul Osman has signed a new two-year contract with the Scottish Premiership club.
The former Gretna, Northampton and Crewe midfielder moved to Firhill in 2014 and has impressed during his time at Thistle.
And the 29-year-old's decision to stay at the Glasgow club comes a day after manager Alan Archibald and his assistant Scott Paterson signed new three-year deals with the Jags.
A statement on the official Partick Thistle website read: "We are delighted to announce that Abdul Osman has signed a two-year extension to his contract which will keep him at Firhill until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
"Abdul has been an important player for Alan Archibald's side since joining from Crewe Alexandra in the summer of 2014 and has made 74 appearances for Thistle to date.
"Abdul, who was appointed Thistle captain last summer, has been consistently excellent in midfield for the Jags this season, missing only three games all season.
"All at Firhill are delighted that Abdul has pledged his future to Partick Thistle and look forward to seeing more of the midfield enforcer in the next two seasons."
