Real Madrid midfielder moves to the top of the Football Whispers charts as speculation linking him with a move to Anfield intensifies.
Odegaard, who joined Real over Liverpool back in 2015, is now 'desperate' to move to Anfield on loan, according to the Daily Mail.
2. Jonas Hector (Cologne) - 3.4
Liverpool continue to be linked with the Germany international defender, with reports claiming a £20m bid could be on the way.
It has been suggested that the Reds are keen to sign the left-back as Jurgen Klopp remains unconvinced by Alberto Moreno, despite the Spaniard featuring heavily in pre-season.
3. Joao Mario (Sporting) - 2.0
The midfielder is back in the top three as he continues to be linked with a move to Merseyside.
Mario's agent, Kia Joorabchian, told Portuguese newspaper Record recently: "Sporting have received four proposals. Inter Milan and Liverpool, certainly, with values between €35 and €40 million, plus bonuses.
"Sporting refused all offers. So from now on, we are discussing a new contract or sale."
Mario caught the eye with his performances during Euro 2016, helping Portugal win the trophy. Chelsea are also reportedly interested in the midfielder.
