Goalkeeper: Pepe Reina

I played with very good goalkeepers - Iker Casillas, Victor Valdes, Santiago Canizares - but I choose Reina because he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He's a very good friend of mine.

Left-back: Jordi Alba

He's fast, a good defender, and good in attack. He's one of the best in the world.

Right-back: Juanfran

He's an offensive and defensive player, and in the last few years is one of the best centre-backs in the world.

Also See:

Centre-back: Diego Godin

I played with so many good defenders, but I'd have to go with my old team-mate Diego Godin. He is very good as a centre-back, with the ball and without the ball, especially at set pieces in attack.

Centre-back: Carles Puyol

He is one of the best centre-backs in football history, I played with him at Barcelona and with the Spain national team.

Defensive midfield: Sergio Busquets

I think in this position he is the best player in the world.

Central midfield: Koke

He is quality, I played with him when he was young, and he has a huge future.

Central midfied: Xavi

It was a pleasure to play close to him, he is one of the best ever in his position.

Left forward: Andres Iniesta

Obviously he scored the winning goal for Spain in the World Cup. He can play in many positions, in the midfield too, but I choose him on the left side of the forwards.

Right forward: David Silva

My team-mate in Valencia and the national team. He is quality, and gave me a lot of passes in my career. I trust him.

Centre forward: Lionel Messi

In my opinion the best soccer player in the world.
