Claudio Ranieri was "very satisfied" with Leicester's 0-0 draw in Copenhagen on Wednesday night.
The uneventful Champions League group stage draw means Leicester need just a point against Club Brugge later in the month at the King Power Stadium to progress to the knockout stage.
And Ranieri, who also praised his side for registering a fourth straight Champions League clean sheet, was happy to get away unscathed.
"At the beginning we slipped a lot, it was very dangerous but fortunately everything is okay. Another clean sheet, I am very satisfied.
"Here in Copenhagen against a good team, they are very well organised. I repeat, in front of their fans they pushed a lot but we stopped them very well with good character and personality and I am very satisfied.
"I expected this kind of performance and they wanted to put us under pressure. They wanted to put in a lot of crosses because you see how many duels in the air with Rob Huth and Wes Morgan when the ball comes to the flank it's more dangerous.

"It's good, now our mind in Champions League is about Brugge. Now there is a big challenge between Copenhagen and Porto. It's not easy, but Brugge want to do something.
"For us it's important to achieve three points and go to Porto very calm, and be first in the group."
Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was given a heated reception by the home fans, but pulled off a fine late save to deny Andreas Cornelius in the game's only clear-cut chance.
Ranieri was full of praise for the goalkeeper, and admits he has had two perfect seasons at Leicester under the Italian.
"We are concentrated and Kasper made a very good save at the end. The only save. The others we stopped all the shots from long distance.
"It was a very good save because at the end if we score, we win the match, if they score, they win the match. It was good and am very satisfied for our performance. Clean sheet, one point, it's okay.
"Kasper is fantastic. I coached a lot of big champions in goal, Kasper is one of these. Very, very good. Two perfect seasons.
"It's difficult to say he's the best goalkeeper. I love my players, it's difficult for me to say no. I always say yes."
