Sean Rigg will miss out through suspension when Newport County host Plymouth Argyle in their FA Cup second-round replay on Wednesday night, with a trip to Liverpool the prize.

The forward was sent off during the initial meeting between the Sky Bet League Two sides on December 3 and serves the final game of a three-match ban.

Exiles boss Graham Westley could recall top-scorer Rhys Healey to his starting line-up after dropping the Cardiff loanee to the bench for Saturday's defeat at Crawley.

Midfielder Mark Randall is also pushing for a start, along with forward Jordan Green and defenders Abdoulaye Meite and Paul Bignot.

Argyle manager Derek Adams will monitor the fitness of defender Ben Purrington ahead of the trip to Rodney Parade.

The left-back, who has not played since November 19 due to hamstring trouble, returned to training this week and could be fit to feature.

Defender Gary Sawyer remains out following surgery on a stomach muscle problem sustained in August, while midfielder David Ijaha is sidelined with a similar injury and strikers Jimmy Spencer (ankle) and Ryan Brunt (ACL) are long-term absentees.
