The Sunday Supplement panel have revealed their football highs and lows of 2016, including trophy wins for Leicester and Portugal.
Neil Ashton was joined by the Sunday Times' football correspondent Jonathan Northcroft, the Daily Mirror's John Cross as well as The People's chief football writer Steve Bates for the New Year's Day edition of the programme.
Among the topics were the best and worst moments according to the selection of journalists, with most of the guests naming Leicester's stunning Premier League victory as one of their 2016 high points.
There was also the Euro 2016 win for Portugal who beat tournament favourites and hosts France in the final, as well as Iceland's shock defeat of England in the last 16.
The woes of the Three Lions also made the cut for one of the lows of the last 12 months for our trio, with another poor showing at a major competition as well as Sam Allardyce's 67-day tenure causes for disappointment.
