Sevilla's push for the La Liga title continued with a thrilling late 4-3 victory at Osasuna.
Franco Vazquez and Pablo Sarabia scored in the final 10 minutes to keep the pressure on Zinedine Zidane's leaders, who are a point ahead of Sevilla having played a game less.
Sergio Leon had given Osasuna the lead but Vicente Iborra levelled just before the break. The midfielder then scored an own goal after 63 minutes and completed a hat-trick of sorts when he equalised for the second time two minutes later.
Vazquez and Sarabia then struck late and while Kenan Kodro grabbed a consolation deep into added time, Osasuna remain bottom.
Antoine Griezmann's late goal rescued a point for Atletico Madrid but they sit eight points off the top after drawing 2-2 at Athletic Bilbao.
Koke had given the visitors a third-minute lead with a low strike from distance but the hosts hit back through Inigo Lekue and De Marcos.
Right-back Lekue levelled before the break before fellow defender De Marcos turned the game after 56 minutes.
Atletico looked to be heading for defeat but Griezmann struck from outside the box to salvage a draw.
That allowed Real Sociedad to keep pace with the top four and draw level on points with Atletico thanks to a 1-0 home win over Celta Vigo.
Juanmi's second-half winner earned the points with the former Southampton striker netting from close range with 18 minutes left.
Sporting Gijon's survival chances suffered a blow despite a 0-0 draw with Real Betis. They remain in the bottom three and are five points from Leganes and the LaLiga safety line following the stalemate.
Betis climbed a place to 13th after just their fourth draw of the season.
