Peter Crouch insists there's still more to come from him after scoring his 100th Premier League goal in Stoke's 1-1 draw with Everton on Wednesday.
Crouch became only the 26th player to join the Premier League's 100 club after opening the scoring in the seventh minute at the bet365 Stadium.
The former England international also became the oldest player in Premier League history at 36 years and two days to achieve the feat, but citing the example of his manager Mark Hughes, who retired at the age of 38, he feels he can continue playing at the highest for a few more years and keep scoring goals.
"I'm really pleased," Crouch told Sky Sports. "Obviously I'm glad it came quite early on, I wasn't on 99 for that long so it was nice to get it out of the way. It was a proud moment for myself, I look along that list of players and I'm very proud and privileged to be among them.
"I'm very pleased to have played in the Premier League for so long. I still feel good, fit and like I can have an impact at this level. Hopefully I'll continue to keep scoring goals.
"I've signed a new deal recently, so the manager feels that I can continue to play. I know I can play at this level for a number of years yet. I've never relied on pace, I know the manager played until he was about 40, and I believe I can do the same."
Crouch celebrated his milestone with his famous robot dance, much to the delight of his team-mates and the Stoke fans.
And he admitted he was under a lot of pressure to pull out his well-known routine.
"I was under a lot of pressure to pull that out, I don't think I've actually done it in club football," he added.
"It was a bit rusty but it was a nice feeling to score and bring it back for nostalgia purposes."
Stoke manager Mark Hughes was delighted for Crouch, praising his unique threat to opposition defences.
"It's fantastic," Hughes said. "It was great it was here and everybody saw him enjoy the moment with his robot dance.
"He will have enjoyed that moment."
Hughes added: "It's credit to him. He's fully deserved it. He's waited a long time and I have to say since he's come back into the side he's been excellent.
"He was excellent again today. Everton found it difficult to cope with the unique threat he poses opposition defences. We are pleased for him, it's something that he's been chasing for a while and I think everybody was glad to be a part of that moment."
