Thursday 2 March 2017 12:51, UK
It may only be early March, but European clubs are already plotting who to bring in during the summer transfer window.
Our friends at Football Whispers have poured over the foreign papers to pick out the biggest stories from the continent.
Italy
Italian champions Juventus are planning to sell Simone Zaza and Kingsley Coman to help raise funds to bring Alexis Sanchez to Turin.
The Arsenal star has been strongly linked with a move in the summer and Juve believe that £35m might be enough to lure the Chilean forward away to Italy, but will first need to part with the West Ham flop Zaza and Coman, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich. (Tuttosport)
However, Juventus aren't the only Serie A side targeting Sanchez. The 28-year-old is on the shopping list of Inter Milan, along with Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi and Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann. (Corriere dello Sport)
Inter's new owners, the Suning Group, are not just targeting players though. They are trying to tempt Chelsea manager Antonio Conte with the promise of a €150m (£128m) war chest. (Tuttosport)
Meanwhile, Juventus boss Max Allegri has emerged as a target for Barcelona who need to find a replacement for Luis Enrique after he announced his departure at the end of the season on Wednesday. (Corriere dello Sport)
Spain
However, when asked if he was learning Spanish, Allegri joked that he found it hard enough to learn Italian when he was at school. (AS)
The favourite to take over at the Camp Nou is Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli. The former Chile head coach wants assurances that the club will continue to challenge for major domestic and European honours before committing to a new long-term deal at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. (AS)
Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde is possibly ahead of Sampaoli in the race to become the next Barcelona manager. (Marca)
Valencia will take up the option to sign Simone Zaza permanently from Juventus when his current loan deal ends for a fee of €16m (£13.7m). (Marca)
Germany
Liverpool targets Ousmane Dembele and Christian Pulisic never considered joining the Reds over Borussia Dortmund when the Premier League club attempted to sign the pair last summer. (Sport Bild)
It is becoming increasingly likely that Leicester City and Stoke City target Davie Selke will leave RB Leipzig in the summer after struggling for game time this term. (Sport Bild)
France
Manchester City and Bayern Munich are monitoring Lyon's Lucas Tousart. The 19-year-old midfielder is the former captain of the France U19 team. (France Football)
Portugal
1860 Munich want to extend the loan stay of Benfica forward Victor Andrade, or sign him permanently. The 21-year-old was previously a target for both Manchester City and Chelsea. (Record)
