Simon Mignolet - Stoke v LIVERPOOL - April 8

Liverpool came from behind to beat Stoke 2-1 at the weekend, thanks to quick-fire goals from Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino in the second half.

However, Stoke were nearly level seconds later through Saido Berahino, but Mignolet somehow kept out his effort with his thigh from point-blank range after Arnautovic's teasing cross.

Stoke 1-2 Liverpool

"We needed Simon with two outstanding saves, the second one [from Berahino] was one of the best I have ever seen - the save of the year," Klopp said post-match.

"It was outstanding and well deserved for him because he got a lot of criticism in his Liverpool career and sometimes these are the moments you need as a player and for us as a team we need a goalkeeper like this."

Jordan Pickford - Bournemouth v SUNDERLAND - November 5

With two minutes left and Sunderland leading 2-1, Josh King hammered a shot from 15 yards that was heading for the top corner until the brilliant Pickford diverted the effort wide of the post with a spectacular one-handed save.

Victor Valdes - MIDDLESBROUGH v Chelsea - November 20

The league leaders had a battle on their hands when travelling to the Riverside in November, and won 1-0 thanks to Diego Costa's first-half strike.

Lee Grant - Man Utd v STOKE - October 2

Grant was called into action immediately when Stoke travelled to Old Trafford in October, and the shotstopper brilliantly denied Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

It proved to be a frustrating afternoon for United as Joe Allen struck late to cancel out an Anthony Martial goal.

Tom Heaton - Man Utd v BURNLEY - October 29

Heaton's starfish save will long be remembered, with the Burnley 'keeper denying Ibrahimovic from point-blank range to earn his side a point at Old Trafford.

United had 37 shots on goal, but found Heaton in impenetrable form as he made 11 saves - earning a 10 in our player ratings as a result.

This stop was arguably his finest - Ibrahimovic flew through the air on 60 minutes to connect with a cross from the right but his scissor-kick was bravely blocked away by a starfish-like Heaton, who said after the game the power of the strike nearly broke his arm.
