Ryan Giggs has taken up a consultancy role at a Vietnamese football academy.

The Manchester United legend will begin his new position at the Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents FC [PVF] on November 20.

The position is not a full-time one, but it will see him visit the academy for a few days twice a year, including the opening of the new academy this weekend.

Speaking in his Super 6 Class of '92 diary, Giggs said: "They've just built a brand new academy so I'm going out with Scholesy for three days of consultancy, with the potential for to link up with Salford in the future.

"We're building our academy and university so these links across the world will help. It is supposed to be an amazing facility."

Giggs has previously been linked with a number of coaching jobs since his spell as United's interim boss in 2014, and recently expressed interest in managing Leicester and Everton.
