Sheffield Wednesday defender Jack Hunt is set to undergo a medical at Bristol City on Thursday ahead of a move to Ashton Gate, according to Sky sources.
It is understood the fee for the 27-year-old will be in the region of £1.6m and he will sign a three-year deal with Lee Johnson's side.
Hunt initially joined Wednesday on loan from Crystal Palace in 2015 before making the move to Hillsborough permanent at the end of that season.
He made 96 appearances for the Owls, helping them reach the Sky Bet Championship play-offs on two occasions.
Hunt started his career at Huddersfield and has also spent time at Barnsley, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham.
He is set to become Lee Johnson's fifth signing of the summer, after Bristol City sealed deals for Ipswich defender Adam Webster, Derby forward Andreas Weimann, Norwich winger Marley Watkins and Scunthorpe winger Hakeeb Adelakun.
