Linfield 4-2 Glentoran: Hosts win to extend lead at top of table

Highlights of the NIFL Premiership match between Linfield and Glentoran.

Linfield moved six points clear at the top of the Northern Irish Premiership after beating Glentoran 4-2 on Monday.

Jordan Stewart gave Linfield the lead in the 36th minute when he scored from the penalty spot.

Calum Birney then deflected a cross into his own net to make it 2-0 to the home side.

Glentoran responded after half-time as Curtis Allen pulled a goal back and Robbie McDaid equalised.

However, Chris Casement restored Linfield's lead before Joe Crowe was sent off for a tackle on Michael O'Connor.
