DC United attacking midfielder Luciano Acosta is flying to Paris on Thursday for a Deadline Day move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sky sources.
It is understood the fee would be in the region of £7.5m
Two Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, are also reported to be interested in the 24-year-old.
Acosta, who joined DC United from Boca Juniors in 2016, has made 64 appearances for the club.
He has scored 15 goals and forged a productive relationship with Wayne Rooney.
His current contract expires at the end of the 2019 season.
DC United recently signed 21-year-old Argentine striker Lucas Rodriguez on loan from Estudiantes.
