Liverpool v Bayern Munich
Key stat: Liverpool have just the solitary loss in their seven European matches against Bayern Munich (W2, D4) and are unbeaten in 19 consecutive European fixtures at Anfield (W14, D5), while the German side have failed to score a single goal against Liverpool at Anfield (three games).
Form: Liverpool found a way to advance from Group C, seeing off Napoli 1-0 in order to knock them out of the competition and set up this tie with the Bundesliga team. Bayern Munich were one of five teams to remain unbeaten in this season's group stages, finishing top of Group E.
Main men: Sadio Mane scored seven goals in as many knockout games in the Champions League last season and will be a threat to the Bayern Munich defence, who will be without Jerome Boateng due to injury. Robert Lewandowski is the top scorer in the competition and will attempt to find the net for a fifth consecutive time.
Best backed: 3-1 (14/1 with Sky Bet)
Lyon v Barcelona
Key stat: Lyon have made it to the knockout phase of the Champions League for the first time since 2011/12, yet have been eliminated five of the last six times they have reached that stage, while Barcelona are six unbeaten against Lyon, drawing on two of those occasions (W4).
Form: Both of these sides remained unbeaten throughout the group stages, while Lyon have drawn each of their last five Champions League matches, allowing them to finish second ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk, with their only win coming at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City. Barcelona had no such trouble, winning Group B by a six-point margin.
Main men: Memphis Depay has assisted four Lyon goals thus far in their Champions League campaign, a joint-high alongside Kylian Mbappe and Riyad Mahrez. Lionel Messi has scored 90 Champions League goals in 90 starts since the 2009 final, while he has six to his name in this year's competition.
Best backed: 1-1 (7/1 with Sky Bet)
QPR v West Brom
Key stat: QPR lost the reverse fixture 7-1 - the most goals they have conceded against one team in a singular season was Manchester United (11) in 1968/69, while West Brom have won nine away league matches this campaign, one fewer than in their three previous seasons combined.
Form: QPR have taken fewer Sky Bet Championship points in 2019 than any other side (one - D1, L5) and have slipped down to 18th position due to their recent form. West Brom are currently fourth and unbeaten in three, posting a valuable win at rivals Aston Villa in their last outing.
Main men: Matt Smith has been directly involved in 16 goals in as many Sky Bet Championship starts (eight goals, eight assists) for QPR. Jay Rodriguez has had a hand in 10 goals in his last nine league appearances for West Brom (seven goals, three assists).
Best backed: 0-1 (8/1 with Sky Bet)
Portsmouth v Bristol Rovers
Key stat: Portsmouth have won nine consecutive matches at Fratton Park against Bristol Rovers in all competitions and have won 12 of their last 15 games in all competitions against Bristol Rovers (L3).
Form: Portsmouth are winless in their last six Sky Bet League One matches (D3, L3) and squandered a three-goal lead to draw with Southend in their last outing, putting them in third, five points adrift of Barnsley in second. Since losing five in a row between November and December, Bristol Rovers have only suffered one defeat in their last nine (W4, D4).
Main men: Ben Close has scored in each of his last two matches for Portsmouth, while Omar Bogle has found the net twice in four matches since signing on-loan from Cardiff, which will be a handful for the Bristol Rovers backline. Tom Nichols has contributed to three goals in as many games for Bristol Rovers (one goal, two assists), as many as he contributed to in his first 23 games of the season.
Best backed: 2-1 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
Sunderland v Gillingham
Key stat: Sunderland are unbeaten in their last four home games against Gillingham (W3, D1), who have only mustered up two clean sheets from their last 14 league away games (W4, D3, L7),
Form: Jack Ross' team have drawn six of their eight league games in 2019, though they have won the other two, leaving them in fourth place, six points behind Barnsley with a game in hand. Gillingham have only one win from five and sit in 17th, though that win did come last time out at home to Scunthorpe.
Main men: Will Grigg is yet to score since his move to Sunderland, and has missed a host of chances in the three starts he has made thus far. Out to supply him will be Aiden McGeady, who has two goals in his last four appearances. Tom Eaves has scored 15 Sky Bet League One goals this campaign, more than double any other Gillingham player.
Best backed: 2-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet)
Barnsley v Burton
Key stat: Three of the last seven meetings between these sides have ended as draws, while Barnsley have conceded in their last three encounters with Burton (five goals), following four consecutive clean sheets against them.
Form: Barnsley have won nine of their last 11 Sky Bet League One matches (D2), including scoring twice in each of their last seven outings, propelling them up to second in the table. Burton are unbeaten in five games in 2019 (W2, D3), which has put Nigel Clough's side in mid-table.
Main men: Cauley Woodrow has scored successive braces for Barnsley, which Burton will attempt to deal with. David Templeton has scored in each of his last two league games for Burton, with both players searching to find the net in three consecutive matches for their respective clubs.
Best backed: 2-2 (16/1 with Sky Bet)
