Newcastle United 2026/27 Premier League fixtures

Newcastle will begin their 2026/27 Premier League campaign at home to Liverpool on Sunday August 23, live on Sky Sports.

The game will be part of the first Super Sunday of the season with kick-off at 4.30pm and comes after the Merseysiders usurped the Magpies for another summer signing. Victor Munoz joined Liverpool this week having previously agreed a deal with Newcastle.

The game against Liverpool is followed by fixtures against Tottenham, Bournemouth, Leeds and newly-promoted Hull before the extended international break.

The first Tyne-Wear derby will be on Saturday December 5 at St James' Park. The return fixture will be on Saturday May 1.

This begins a busy run-in at the start of May. The match at the Stadium of Light is followed by a visit from Frank Lampard's Coventry, then games against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. Newcastle will finished the season on Sunday May 30 away to Hull.

The full return of Boxing Day fixtures will see Eddie Howe's side host Manchester City. Four days later, they will welcome Nottingham Forest to St James' Park before a trip to Chelsea on Saturday January 2.
