English duo looking to seal paths into last 16

Manchester United and Manchester City will be aiming to seal their places in the last 16 of the Champions League in the penultimate round of group games. Manchester City can secure their spot in the knockout stages with victory over Napoli in Group A live on Sky Sports HD2 after picking up back-to-back wins against Villarreal. Anything less than victory could hand an opportunity back to Napoli and leave City needing to beat Bayern Munich in their final Group A game to guarantee progress. Group A leaders Bayern Munich can confirm their progress to the last 16 when they play host to lowly Villarreal at the Allianz Arena with the Spaniards yet to pick up a point yet. Manchester United will celebrate qualification into the knockout stages by beating old European foes Benfica at Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports HD4. Victory for Sir Alex Ferguson's men, coupled with Basel's failure to win away to Otelul Galati, would secure top spot in Group C for last season's losing finalists. Benfica also have qualification to the last 16 in their sights and are aware that victory will ensure Jorge Jesus' side finish top of the group. In the other game in the group Basel will be looking to take their bid for qualification to a last game showdown with United by overcoming Galati in Romania. Inter Milan travel to Trabzonspor in Group B knowing a draw will be good enough to secure progression, but Claudio Ranieri's men will be out for revenge after losing their opening game in the group to the Turkish side. CSKA Moscow will be seeking to take one step closer to the last 16 and end Lille's slim hopes of qualifying with victory over the French champions at the Luzhniki Stadium. In Group D Real Madrid are already assured of their place in the next phase, but they will be aiming to secure top spot in the group when they play host to basement boys Dinamo Zagreb at El Santiago Bernabeu. Lyon play host to Ajax in a must-win encounter for the French side at Stade Gerland as they currently lie three points behind the Dutch giants.
