Dijon right-back aware of transfer talk

Highly-rated right-back Abdoulaye Bamba has admitted it is great to hear reports of interest from clubs such as Fulham. The 21-year-old from Ivory Coast is currently plying his trade with Ligue 1 side Dijon in France, where he is earning rave reviews for his top-flight performances. Fulham are rumoured to be keeping tabs on Bamba's progress and he is aware of the speculation, although he says there has been no approach at this stage. Bamba, who spent time with the Juve youth team as a youngster, is therefore staying focused on performing as well as he can for Dijon. "I am flattered by the interest of clubs," he said. "Fulham have not made any contact with me and it is only paper talk so far, but if it is true I will be very happy to be linked with such a club after only a year in the French top league. "I will not lose my head, I love what is happening to me at the moment and Dijon is close to my heart also, having given me this opportunity to realise my dream."
