Sky Sports understands Charlton, Sheffield United and Preston are chasing Wycombe striker Stuart Beavon. Beavon has been Wycombe's shining light this season, scoring 25 goals for the Chairboys in League One. Wycombe face a major fight to keep hold of their star forward now their relegation to League Two has been confirmed. Championship-bound Charlton are thought to be admirers of Beavon as they look to bolster their squad, while Sheffield United are also in the market for striking reinforcements next season. Preston boss Graham Westley is believed to be keen on winning the race to land Beavon as he looks to rebuild the squad at Deepdale after a disappointing campaign.
