Hungary striker is keen to remain in England

Portsmouth forward Marko Futacs has admitted he would like to remain at the relegated club next season. The 22-year-old Hungarian remains unsure whether he will still be at Fratton Park as manager Michael Appleton weighs up his options. Futacs, who arrived from Werder Bremen in August 2011, signed a one-year deal although he was mainly used as a substitute during his time on the South Coast. "I don't know what the future will bring as it also depends on what will happen to the club," Futacs told Nemzeti Sport. "I have had some offers put on the table, but I wouldn't mind staying here as I like the city very much. "I enjoy playing football here and I think the fans like me. "I wish I could stay in England. It's totally different to Germany or France because the attacking part of the game is livelier here."
