Canadian forward to remain in the Premier League

Sky Sports understands that Junior Hoilett has agreed to join Queens Park Rangers after opting against penning a new deal at Blackburn Rovers. Rovers spent much of last season attempting to tie the highly-rated forward down on fresh terms. Relegation out of the Premier League was always likely to undermine those efforts, and Hoilett has opted to move on. The 22-year-old was reported to be on his way to Germany at one stage, with Borussia Monchengladbach believed to be leading the chase for his signature. Hoilett has, however, taken the decision to remain in English football. He is believed to have agreed terms with QPR and is all set to become the latest new recruit at Loftus Road. Mark Hughes has been busy in the transfer market this summer, with the likes of Park Ji-sung, Robert Green, Andrew Johnson and Fabio already added to his ranks.
