Midfielder staying at Loftus Road

Sky Sports understands Queens Park Rangers starlet Frankie Sutherland has agreed a new long-term contract. Sutherland has come through the youth ranks at Loftus Road and is rated very highly by their coaching staff. Also a Republic of Ireland youth international, Sutherland is understood to have been attracting attention from elsewhere in the Premier League. However, the boyhood QPR fan has pledged his long-term future to the Hoops. Sutherland's progress was rewarded earlier this week when he was handed a squad number ahead of their Capital One Cup clash with Walsall on Tuesday.
