Sporting Lisbon chairman Bruno De Carvalho has denied claims the club have received bids for midfield starlet William Carvalho.
Reports claimed that Manchester United had sent delegates to Lisbon to begin negotiations over a £37million deal for the 22-year-old.
However, Bruno De Carvalho quashed the speculation by insisting the club have not opened any talks regarding the future of the Portugal international.
"We haven't received any formal or informal proposals for any of our players," De Carvalho confirmed in A Bola.
United, Chelsea and Monaco have all been linked with Carvalho but Sporting are not worried about letting the defensive midfielder go due to the €45million release fee written into his contract.
Despite insisting the club are yet to receive any offers for Carvalho, the Sporting chairman understands things can rapidly change during the summer transfer window.
“Is a sale possible? Nothing is impossible in football,” De Carvalho admitted.
