Sevilla have agreed a deal to take Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu on a season-long loan, subject to a medical.
The Spain Under-21 forward had been expected to feature at the Nou Camp this season, having spent last term on loan at Everton, but new Barca coach Luis Enrique has decided the Catalan club can do without the 20-year-old.
"Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle for the loan for a season, without option to buy, for the player Gerard Deulofeu," a Sevilla statement read.
"He will undergo a medical examination on Monday and, if all goes well, sign the papers to definitely close the deal."
