Barcelona defender Dani Alves is close to signing a pre-contract agreement at an unnamed club, according to the player's agent.
The Brazil international, who has been linked with several top European clubs including Manchester United, is out of contract at Camp Nou at the end of the season, and the Spanish giants have not yet offered him a new deal.
Alves’ agent, Dinorah Santana, says the 31-year-old is on the verge of signing for another club, although she says Barca still have time to launch a counter-offer of their own.
“We are close to signing for another club, talks are advanced. Barca? Dani is still available, but he will not wait much more,” she told Spanish radio station RAC1.
Alves has made over 200 appearances for Barcelona, winning La Liga four times and the Champions League twice with the Catalan giants.
