McGovern joins MK Dons
Milton Keynes Dons have made their third signing of the week in Jon-Paul McGovern.
Milton Keynes Dons boss Martin Allen has made his third signing of the week in the form of Jon-Paul McGovern. The former Celtic and Livingston midfielder joins former Sheffield Wednesday team-mate Drissa Diallo in making the switch to the League Two club following his release from Hillsborough back in May.
The Glasgow-born player has signed a three-year contract with the Buckinghamshire club after making over 60 appearances for The Owls.
Allen hopes McGovern's arrival will boost MK Dons' chances for the coming season at The National Hockey Stadium.
"He is an attacking right-winger and this signing shows our intentions for the future," Allen told the club's official website.
