Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has shot up over 200 places in the Sky Sports Power Rankings after scoring twice against Aston Villa.
The England international was making just his second start of the campaign on Saturday but bagged a brace in the Reds' 3-2 win at Anfield.
Sturridge's performance has lifted him up to 25 in the Sky Sports Power Rankings - a table which ranks players on a variety of statistics.
The Power Rankings methodology reflects a player's performance over the previous five weeks - with each preceding week worth fewer points. This means the Power Rankings reflect the in-form players of the moment.
Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez was another player to rise up the standings - his hat-trick in the Gunners' 5-2 win at Leicester moved him up 72 places to sixth spot. He was the top-performing player in the latest round of Premier League fixtures with 7664 points.
Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham dominate the upper reaches of the charts, with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris topping the rankings, despite leaking one goal during Spurs' 4-1 demolition of Manchester City on Saturday.
Team-mate Toby Alderweireld - a summer signing from Atletico Madrid after a loan spell at Southampton - landed second place, while Erik Lamela stands fifth.
Defender-turned-midfielder Eric Dier secured eighth place after scoring against City to continue his impressive form. Harry Kane - who registered his first goal of the season against City - shot 47 places up the chart to 13th.
Manchester United duo Juan Mata (3rd) and Anthony Martial (4th) were the new Premier League leaders' top-performing players, with the latter continuing to climb the rankings following his deadline day arrival at Old Trafford.
Mata scored one and provided Memphis Depay with another during United's 3-0 victory over Sunderland on Saturday, while 19-year-old Martial assisted Wayne Rooney (42nd) to score his first league goal this campaign.
Chelsea midfielder Ramires also had an impressive week, climbing 185 places to No 40 after coming off the bench in the 73rd minute to score against Newcastle, helping the Blues recover from a 2-0 deficit.
The Sky Sports Power Rankings will be updated each week during the season, so be sure to keep an eye on the big movers...
