The Super Sunday pundits review the weekend's action

Alan Smith, Niall Quinn and Jamie Redknapp look back on the weekend's Premier League action, which saw wins for Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea.

On the second weekend of the 2016/17 Premier League season, it was United who kicked things off with a 2-0 victory over Southampton on Friday Night Football.

City beat Stoke in the early game on Saturday before Chelsea and Burnley notched up wins and Leicester and Arsenal played out a goalless draw.

Super Sunday saw Middlesbrough win at Sunderland and West Ham earn a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth in their first league game at the London Stadium.

Reflecting on the atmosphere at the stadium for the Hammers' home league debut, Smith said: "At times it was flat. The fans didn't have much to shout about for large parts of the match, did they?

"I think they wanted to get behind the team and, every now and then, the West Ham fans did burst into song."
