Premier League Player of the Week - Salomon Rondon

It took Salomon Rondon just 13 second-half minutes against Swansea on Wednesday to score the hat-trick that sent West Brom seventh.

What's more, Rondon's goals were all thumping headers as he made the most of some juicy deliveries from his team-mates.

The Venezuelan had fluffed the best of the first-half chances but found his forehead a more trusty accomplice than his right foot, meeting a Matt Phillips free-kick to put Albion ahead five minutes after half-time.

Identikit goals followed soon afterwards, both of them laid on by birthday boy Chris Brunt, who made the most of his relocation to left-back to lay two on a plate for Rondon from wide on the left.

Wayne Routledge's reply did not prevent Tony Pulis giving his big striker a curtain call towards the end as he was substituted to the acclaim of the home supporters.

Don't worry, though, he nipped back on at the end to make sure referee Michael Oliver did not depart with the match ball!
