Andy Carroll, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Olivier Giroud

There have been some stunning goals scored in the Premier League this season, but few better than the three scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Olivier Giroud and Andy Carroll in recent weeks.

Mkhitaryan came off the bench to score a stunning scorpion kick for Manchester United against Sunderland on Boxing Day, while on New Year's Day Giroud found the net for Arsenal against Crystal Palace with a similarly stunning effort.

Palace were then on the receiving end again on Saturday as Carroll found the net for West Ham on Saturday in wonderfully emphatic fashion.

Carra: "It’s unbelievable skill. I think the brilliant thing about that goal was Mkhitaryan was starting to show signs that he was ready to show everyone in the Premier League what he was about. That goal said he’s here, he’s arrived.

"That goal could be the start of him becoming one of the top players in the Premier League."

Henry: "I'm going to have to go with Giroud. People will say it's because I'm an Arsenal fan but first and foremost the game wasn't good and the goal lit up the place. You have to give him his credit because people doubt him. There's a lot of instinct in it, let's all be honest. But to be able to score that goal, keep it on target and when the ball hits the crossbar and goes in it always makes it better."

Andy Carroll scores against Crystal Palace

Henry: "What a technique. Look at the power he generates. The ball is almost gone and the goalkeeper attempts a dive. There is no way he is getting that ball. He did make it better though because it’s always good when the goalkeeper makes an effort to get the ball. All credit to Andy Carroll, what a goal!"

Carra: "I'm thinking of Payet's goal, the strikes from Giroud and Mkhitaryan but I would go with Andy Carroll. I did think it was Giroud's goal against Crystal Palace but now I'm going for Carroll."
