Interest mounts in Davies

But Bolton won't consider loaning striker

Sky Sports understands that a host of clubs have made enquiries for Bolton striker Kevin Davies. The 34-year-old admitted earlier this month that he was facing an uncertain future. Davies has slipped down the pecking order this season and is now spending much of his time on the bench, which has alerted other clubs to his possible availability. And now Sky Sports understands that Sunderland, Wolves, West Brom are all monitoring his situation whilst Old Firm duo Celtic and Rangers are also keen. But whilst Bolton would consider selling him this month, it is not believed that they would entertain a loan deal - which most of the clubs interested would seem to prefer. Davies's current deal at the Reebok Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season.
