Midfielder's thigh injury not serious

Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish hopes to have Stiliyan Petrov back for this weekend's clash with Blackburn Rovers. Petrov missed Villa's draw with Wigan at the weekend with a thigh injury suffered in training. However, McLeish believes the injury is not too serious and that the Bulgarian could return for the visit to Ewood Park. "I think Stiliyan will definitely be okay for Blackburn," said McLeish. "He was touch and go for the Wigan game. "Stiliyan wanted to play but the dilemma for me was if he started and then, after 10 or 15 minutes he was feeling it, he's then out for six weeks."
