Stoke boss thinks the Premier League is the best division in the world
Tony Pulis will not allow Stoke to give any opponent an easy ride after once again being forced to defend his team's style.
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was left more than a little annoyed after his Premier League title-chasing squad were on Saturday held to a 1-1 draw at the Britannia Stadium.
The Italian failed to shake Pulis' hand after the final whistle and believed his team had been the victims of over-the-top physical tactics.
David Silva was left with a bandaged head after a challenge by Dean Whitehead, but Stoke are not making any apologies for their tactics.
Manager Pulis said in
The Sun: "I don't think we do anything wrong at this football club. We are competitive. We close people down.
Exciting
"For me, there's a make-up within the Premier League that is better than any of the big leagues.
"It's what makes it the best in the world, as you have different styles, different systems.
"You have everything in the pot and it makes it exciting.
"No club, and this is why it will be exciting right until the end, goes anywhere, or should go anywhere, to any ground and do sometimes what Barcelona and Real Madrid do to teams in Spain.
"And that is just play a game and just walk through it. That won't happen in England."
