Toffees manager says win was 'valuable three points'
Everton boss David Moyes praised his side's display as they easily overcame West Brom at Goodison Park to record their third victory in a week.
Leon Osman's deflected shot and Victor Anichebe's second-half strike gave the Toffees a 2-0 win which lifted the Blues into seventh spot and above Merseyside neighbours Liverpool.
Moyes' side have lost just twice in 15 matches now and after their win at Swansea last weekend they booked an FA Cup semi-final slot against Liverpool with a midweek win over Sunderland before collecting all three points after an abject performance by the Baggies.
There has been a noticeable upturn since January and Moyes enjoyed the performance, telling
Sky Sports: "It was a great result for us today. You know, after the performance in midweek, I was a little bit concerned how it would go today, but the players did a brilliant job, they really did.
"West Brom have got a great away record this season and I was very aware of that."

Moyes now feels it is very important to keep the momentum going until the end of the season, where the Scot is eyeing finishing above Liverpool.
"It's better having something to go for and to play for and we have at the moment. To be fair in recent seasons we've always been in and around this position at the end of the season.
"I don't know if I would have said at the start of the season this is where we'll be, but great credit to the players because they've knuckled down and the players we brought in January have given all of us a real lift, so it was another valuable three points."
