Club still coming to terms with relegation from Premier League
Blackburn's co-owner Venkatesh Rao says a decision will be made over the future of manager Steve Kean next month as the club are still coming to terms with their relegation.
Rovers slipped into the Championship to put the final nail in a miserable season and pile more pressure on Kean, who has been the subject of fan protests throughout the campaign.
Indian owners Venky's have also come under fire, with supporters urging them to sack the manager.
Kean has travelled to India since Blackburn's relegation for talks with the club's owners and Rao says the discussions were "honest" but refused to be drawn on the Scotsman's future.
Rao admits the owners are still absorbing the fact that the club have been relegated, but says they intend to make a decision over the boss next month.
He told
Sky Sports: "I really don't know on that issue. I think we're talking about various things; about the manager, about the players, about the staff, about the club. I would say kindly bear with us for some time and then the whole picture will be cleared.
"I would say next month, it will be a proper situation to talk about. Let us see what happens.
Shock
"We are totally in shock and let us take it step by step. There's nothing decided still because it's totally in a confused state.
"We are still rectifying the whole thing as a club so it's very difficult to say right now, while we are in the middle of the process."
Rao is adamant Rovers must bounce straight back following their slide into the second tier.
He added: "Getting relegated is basically not good news for anybody. The saddest thing is that we got it.
"We have to come back very strongly. We have to come back at any cost."
