Tight

Newcastle's players thought Papiss Cisse had scored in the second half when it was difficult to tell if his shot had crossed the line, while replays showed United goalkeeper David De Gea had appeared to do enough to keep it out. After looking at the incident again, Pardew admits the ball did not appear to go in. He said: "The turning point was probably whether the ball went in or not and it looks like it just didn't. "So it's disappointing because at the time I thought it was in by the reaction of the players. "I think it's tight. Looking at the angles I've looked at it looks like it hasn't gone over the line."
