West Brom boss Tony Pulis says he is ready to rebuild the club

West Brom boss Tony Pulis says he wants to rebuild the club, claiming they have 'gone off the rails' in recent seasons.
The former Crystal Palace boss is refusing to think of summer signings until Albion, who avoided relegation by just three points last season, secure their Premier League status.
"It has gone a little bit off the rails in the last two or three years," he said. "I don't think anyone can argue about that, it is now just about trying to get it back on track.
"We will talk about it (the summer transfer market) once we have achieved our goals - which is to stay up. We are still points away from that.
'Proposals'
"Once that is achieved we will sit down and talk to the chairman. It is a good football club, everything is in place."
Albion face QPR on Saturday and a victory would put them 14 points clear of the Londoners who currently sit second from bottom.
"Every game we play is a chance to pick up points in the Premier League," added Pulis. "We will respect QPR, they have the tools to win a game in this division."
And Pulis has rejected the proposals of FA chairman Greg Dyke who is calling for limits to be placed on the number of foreign players in the English leagues.
Dyke has called for the number of homegrown players in each squad to be increased from eight to 12 but Pulis sees little benefit in the changes.
"If they are not good enough they shouldn't be in the squad," he said. "That's my argument, if you are talking about stopping top foreign players from coming into the country.
"I don't think that's the way. I think bringing top players in to train and work and play with the top players in England should make them aspire to be better players themselves."
