Peter Ramage and Owen Garvan are among five players who will not be offered new contracts by Crystal Palace at the end of the season.

Lewis Price, Stephen Dobbie and Jerome Thomas are also leaving Selhurst Park.

Wales international goalkeeper Price is the longest-serving player being released by the club, having been with Palace since 2010, although he has only made 13 appearances and spent much of the season on loan with Crawley.

Garvan joined Palace just after Lewis and scored 11 goals in his 87 appearances, but he had not been involved with the first team since August and had a brief spell on loan with Bolton.

Ramage was on loan with Barnsley for much of the season, while Thomas made only three appearances in 2014-15, the most recent in the FA Cup win over Dover in January.

Dobbie also left on loan this season, playing for League One Fleetwood Town after spending most of last season with Blackpool - he made only two appearances for Palace after making a loan move from Brighton permanent in 2013.

Palace chairman Steve Parish paid tribute to the departing quintet, saying: "I would like to thank Peter, Owen, Lewis, Stephen and Jerome for their contributions during their time at the club and wish them well in the future.

“A special mention should go to Peter, Stephen and Owen who were especially important in our promotion season, and will be remembered fondly by Palace fans for years to come.”
