Vote: Manchester United 2-1 Newcastle: Rooney lights up Old Trafford, 24 April 2005
Wayne Rooney scored one of the goals of the 2004/05 season when he cancelled out Darren Ambrose's 27th-minute opener at Old Trafford.
Newcastle defender Peter Ramage headed the ball towards Rooney, who was in acres of space, and he duly punished the poor clearance with a venomous volley.
The strike flew past Shay Given and drew gasps from the crowd as the ball nestled into the top right corner.
Vote: Manchester United 3-0 Aston Villa: Van Persie seals Premier League title win, 22 April 2013
Robin van Persie scored some superb volleys during his Premier League stay, but this one simply can't be understated. It was a goal fitting of sealing any Premier League title win, as it did here.
Wayne Rooney has often been praised for his eclectic range of passing and showed just why in this passage of play.
Rooney expertly directed a through-ball into Van Persie's path. The Dutchman then peeled away from his marker, giving him space to rifle a spectacular volley home.
Vote: Leeds 1-0 Liverpool: Tony Yeboah unleashes a rocket, 21 August 1995
There have been very few players that have made same impact in their first Premier League season as Tony Yeboah did.
On this occasion, Rod Wallace cushioned a header up for Yeboah, enabling him to produce an explosive blast from 25-yards out at Elland Road.
Liverpool keeper David James was never reaching it, despite his best efforts with a lunging dive, as the strike went in off the crossbar.
Vote: Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United: Henry stuns Barthez, 1 October 2000
This was a moment of Thierry Henry inspiration. Denis Irwin was marking the Frenchman shirt-tight as the ball was rolled to his feet.
Henry then lifted the ball in the air, made a quick turn and lashed a volley into the roof of the net. Fabien Barthez was completely taken by surprise and the France keeper could only watch and admire the sheer brilliance of the goal.
It was deliberate and it was fantastic; Henry knew exactly what he was doing. He ran over towards a jubilant Arsenal bench as soon as the shot left his right boot.
Vote: Chelsea 4-0 Sunderland: Poyet produces a pearler, 7 August 1999
Here we saw a combination of two of the Premier League's greatest-ever foreign imports. The result was "simply glorious", in the words of Martin Tyler.
It was made by the vision of Gianfranco Zola. His exquisite pass set up an explosive finish for Gustavo Poyet, who finished with aplomb.
The season had only just begun but the Blues were already playing exhibition football at Stamford Bridge.
You can watch plenty more great volleys and moments here - including efforts from Paolo Di Canio, Gareth Bale and Jermain Defoe. Take a look and share your favourite to cast your vote for the greatest moment of all time from the world's most exciting league.
