Alan Pardew says Chelsea win was their best under his management

Alan Pardew insists Crystal Palace's 2-1 win at Chelsea was the best performance he has seen since taking charge of the club.
Goals from Bakary Sako and Joel Ward handed Palace their third win in four games this term, and was their first at Stamford Bridge since 1982.
Palace showed character to score the winner just moments after Chelsea had equalised late on, and Pardew praised his side's belief throughout the contest.
"I'd have to say as Crystal Palace manager, this was the best performance of the team," Pardew said
"Not because of the victory, but the manner and the way we played. We looked a good team today.
"It's difficult to try to overcome the quality of not just the team, but the manager here. We did it. There was a belief in us today."
Palace hit Chelsea on the break throughout, but it was not the typical defensive performance normally seen by sides at Stamford Bridge.
While Jose Mourinho praised Palace's performance, Pardew insisted his side's approach to the contest was admirable.
"You can nick a win here, you can park the bus or whatever you want to call it.
"I don't think we did that today. We were on the front foot and tried to hurt Chelsea as often as we could.
"Two goals didn't flatter us at all. It was a great game. You have to pay great credit to Chelsea because they pushed and pushed."
