Vincent Kompany stays top of the Sky Sports Power Rankings after helping Manchester City to an unblemished start to the Premier League season.

Part of a side who have won four out of four, scored 10 goals and conceded none, the Belgian has been instrumental in City's back line, alongside Aleksandar Kolarov, Joe Hart, Bacary Sanga and Eliaquim Mangala, who all make the top 10.

The Sky Sports Power Rankings are purely based on statistics and award players points for a wide array of in-game actions, from scoring goals to making tackles and completing passes, and indicate which Premier League players are the most in form.

The impressive form of Fernandinho, Yaya Toure and David Silva mean eight of the top 10 are from Manuel Pellegrini's side after match day four, with Leicester's Riyad Mahrez (fourth) still making waves and Crystal Palace's Joel Ward (10th) rising.

Mahrez has scored four goals in four games this season, and is joint-top scorer alongside risers Callum Wilson (33rd) and Bafetimbi Gomis (11th), while Ward's fine performances this campaign came alongside scoring the winning goal at Chelsea.

The Sky Sports Power Rankings will be updated each week during the season, so keep an eye on the big movers each week…
