Which Premier League team is the fittest? We take a look at running data to find out...
Tottenham's work rate has been heralded this season. Last week, Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores described Mauricio Pochettino's team as animals, and they comfortably out-ran Manchester City in their 2-1 win at the Etihad on Sunday.
But are Spurs the fittest team in the league?
Using EA Sports Player Performance data, we've taken a look at a number of key running stats - as well as Premier League teams' goals for and against in the final minutes of matches.
While not a fool-proof method of determining which team is the fittest, the numbers show Tottenham are indeed one of the hardest-working sides in the division…
Only Bournemouth (3060.6km) have run further than Tottenham this season (3003.8km).
Tottenham out-ran Man City
Spurs covered 121km to Man City's 112km on Sunday and made 551 high-intensity sprints to City's 494.
Liverpool (fourth in the standings with 2910.2km) and Manchester United (fifth with 2903km) are also among the teams to have covered the most ground.
In contrast, only bottom-of-the-league Aston Villa (2750.8km) and Stoke (2789.2km) have run less than Manchester City (2795.5km) and Chelsea (2802.7km) players this season.

When it comes to high-intensity sprints, Tottenham players top the pile. Pochettino's men have made 13,937 sprints between them this season. Bournemouth are next on the list with 13,858 sprints.
Liverpool (13,793) and Arsenal (13,683) follow - but West Ham players have made just 11,781, the lowest total in the Premier League.
Surprisingly, Leicester City - renowned for their high-speed counter-attacking this season - have made the fewest number of sprints of the current top four (12,557).

Scoring late goals
Man City may not cover as much distance as most Premier League teams, but they have been the best this season at scoring late goals. They've found the net 12 times from the 80th minute onwards this season.
However, Tottenham - despite their running exertions - have still been able to score 10 times in the final 10 minutes of Premier League matches. Only two teams can better that.
At the other end of the scale, Aston Villa have managed just one late goal so far this season and Manchester United - so famous under former boss Sir Alex Ferguson for scoring crucial late goals - have netted just four.

Conceding late goals
Norwich have conceded the most goals late on in Premier League games this season, giving away 10 goals from the 80-minute mark. Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Liverpool have also proven to be susceptible to conceding late goals, having each conceded nine times during that period.
Of the top four, Man City have the best record in the final 10 minutes, conceding just four times, although Tottenham and Arsenal - who have each conceded five during that period - have also regularly kept their concentration late on.
