Manchester United's Paddy McNair 'out for two weeks' after abdominal scare

Manchester United defender Paddy McNair has finally returned home from Helsinki after spending three nights in hospital.
McNair, who is expected to be out for about two weeks, suffered an abdominal injury in the 13th minute of Northern Ireland's 1-1 draw against Finland on Sunday, but played on until the 51st minute before being substituted.
It was feared he may have ruptured his liver, but we understand he has been given the all-clear in that regard and his injuries have been limited to severe bruising around the organs near his ribs, with the 20-year-old kept in hospital as a precaution.
McNair has made just one substitute appearance for Manchester United so far this season, coming on in the 69th minute in the 3-2 win at Southampton on September 20.
But he has featured in Northern Ireland's last three games as they sealed qualification to next summer's European Championships in France.
