Jesse Lingard: Manchester United win sends out warning

Jesse Lingard believes Manchester United's last-gasp win against Watford sent out a strong statement to their title rivals.
United are second in the table after the 2-1 victory on Saturday, while Arsenal slipped up at West Brom and Manchester City were thrashed by Liverpool 4-1.
Louis van Gaal's side led through Memphis Depay before Troy Deeney equalised at Vicarage Road, but an injury-time own goal from the Watford skipper gave the visitors three points to move behind Premier League leaders Leicester.
And Lingard believes the win delivered a psychological blow in the race at the top.
"It's a bit of a statement to the other teams, who will look at this and see we've won," he told ManUtd.com.
"It puts a bit more pressure on them, but it's a good feeling to be back up there.
"I thought it was a scrappy match overall, the conditions didn't help, but we had to keep our concentration throughout and it's great to get the win.
"As long as we win as many games as we can over Christmas, I think we'll be fine."
The 22-year-old forward has now started all of United's last three matches and could feature in the Champions League game with PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
