Jose Mourinho did not have much to say after his side made it through to the final of the EFL Cup with a 3-2 aggregate victory over Hull

Jose Mourinho saw his side earn a place in the EFL Cup final on Thursday night - but he wasn't in a talkative mood afterwards.

Manchester United lost 2-1 at Hull City in the semi-final second leg, but they progressed 3-2 on aggregate thanks to a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford a fortnight ago.

Hull went ahead courtesy of Tom Huddlestone's penalty in the first half, awarded by referee Jon Moss after Marcos Rojo tugged the shirt of Harry Maguire.

And maybe that controversial moment was on Mourinho's mind during his post-match interview with Sky Sports' Guy Havord, as the former Chelsea boss answered only one question with a curt 28-second answer.

When asked for his thoughts, Mourinho said: "I just want to say congratulations to my players because it was a difficult road to be in the final and we are in the final.

"I don't want to say anything else because it's enough.

"I'm calm, I behaved on the bench, not sent off, no punishment, so no more words."

He then walked out of the interview, which you can see for yourself in the video at the top of the page.
