Barnsley have bolstered their defensive options with the capture of Adam Eckersley.
Barnsley have bolstered their defensive options with the capture of Adam Eckersley on loan.The Manchester United youngster has joined the Championship outfit on loan for the remainder of the season.
Eckersley, who has spent time on loan with Royal Antwerp and Brondby, is yet to make his Premiership debut for The Red Devils.
Barnsley struck a deal with United last week and the 21-year-old has now moved across the Pennines to Oakwell.
Eckersley is now in line to make his Tykes debut in Barnsley's clash at home with Preston on Saturday.
