Red Devils man ready to act as translator for new recruit

Manchester United winger Nani says he will help new team-mate Bebe settle into life at the club. Bebe emerged as United's surprise fourth signing of the summer late on Wednesday night from Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes. The 6ft 3in, 20-year-old winger will not be rushed into action at Old Trafford but instead will be eased into a new lifestyle following Sir Alex Ferguson's capture of the player. Ferguson believes Bebe is a prospect for the future and he will spend the meantime adjusting to English culture. And Nani - who moved to United from Porutgal in 2007 - says he will help his fellow countryman overcome the language barrier as he attempts to settle in the North West. Nani explained to Sky Sports News: "Every place you go, you need someone who speaks your language to help you because if you have no confidence, know nothing about the language then you don't know what to do. "But I'll try to help, of course, if he wants. No problem."

Happy

Nani himself was eased into footballing matters following his switch from Sporting Lisbon in 2007 and has since flourished into a key asset at the Red Devils. And the 23-year-old says he is very settled at United and enjoys nothing more than pulling on the famous red jersey. Asked if he was happy at the club, Nani explained: "Yes, of course I'm happy. "Everyone wants to play. This is my life. I was born to play football. And if I spend a couple of weeks out off the pitch, of course I'm not happy. "I can't be happy. If I'm playing, if I'm doing well then I will be happy because this is all I want to do."
